The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Seritex, Incorporated, located at 710 Salerno Way, Howell, NJ, 07731-1736, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). The requirement is for six GPM Large Anthropometric Instrument kits (each containing a GPM anthropometer, an interchangeable recurved measuring branch, a Martin type sliding caliper, a small spreading caliper (rounded ends), plastic measuring tape, dermographic pencil, rigid canvas carrying case), and six PVC base plates for the GPM anthropometer.

The GPM Large Anthropometric Instrument Kits are precise measurement instruments that are made to exacting standards and used in professional fields for accurate measurements of the human body. Seritex Inc., Howell, NJ is currently the only supplier of these high-quality Swiss made instruments in North America. This brand of anthropometric instrument kits has been used by this agency for many decades to perform military related anthropometric and human factors related studies and their continued use provides consistency in standardized data collection methods critical for the evaluation of human body variation.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516 and the size standard is 1,000 employees.
